Merged from Krishna Godavari basin dispute edit

The two article are are barely 2.5kb itself and don't warrant seperate articles as they stand right now, thus i've merged the legal/commercial dispute into a subsection of this page, with a requisite forward.Lihaas (talk) 11:23, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Irrelevant Section On The Article edit

This 'alleged corruption by Reliance Industries' section seems irrelevant for this particular article, first of all it should not have controversies on this page, this should be developed from a geographical, technology, significance point of view. The article digresses from the main point by discussing about the controversies, which does not serve my purpose of gaining info on the basin. Also, the accurracy of the allegations is also questionable and misleading. Tushar Taliyan (talk)

The section on this page looks very irrelevant to the article. It does not follow the Wikipedia guidelines as mentioned here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view. The section tries to deviate the reader's attention from KG basin to varied allegations. I think we must get this section removed. Premchandran (talk) 13:05, 24 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Alleged corruption by Reliance Industries: An irrelevant section edit

This section is quite out of context with respect to the topic, the references given for the section are just allegations and not proven facts. This wiki page should talk more about the geographical aspect of the basin as rightly said by Tushar. Ekaagar (talk) 13:36, 24 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \boffshore-technology\.com\b on the local blacklist
  • http://www.offshore-technology.com/projects/bayofbengal/specs.html

Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.—cyberbot II NotifyOnline 21:51, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Main Figure cited is not of Krishna-Godavari basin but of Godavari Drainage Basin edit

Krishna-Godavari basin, known for natural gas reserves is a a peri-cratonic passive margin basin in India. However, the geological map cited in https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Krishna_Godavari_Basin#/overview is of geological/Lithologic units present in Godavari Drainage basin. Therefore the main figure shown on page is not relevant with the contents of the page.
