Fun for all, giant for fun?

Looks like the new manga naming is a bit more complicated than simply "amansan" + "uminchu" = (lady diver + shell fisher) = amanchu. Aria Kedavra

Ms. Kozue Amano is a well-known HP fan, and she co-authored a series of at least three Harry Potter themed 30-40 pages doujin-shi booklets (HP and the Secret Flower Garden, HP and the Nearby Stone, HP and the Azkaban Clique). The nominal publisher, a doujin circle named "Office Akujo" consisted of her and Saint Seiya author Mr. Teshirougi Shiori. It's no secret it was her, each chapter contains dedications to her fat cat, named Pokoteng.

Strictly speaking, such commercial fan art violates HP copyrights, but in practice no-one cares a damn about that aspect in Japan. Doujin-shi based on any literary or movie theme are very widespread and being sold at conventions near self-cost of production.

Expecing a child

Announcement in Comic Blade 2010/Oct issue says Kozue Amano's recent manga "Amanchu!" changes to a tri-monthly pubishing schedule due to her pregnancy. 87.97.97.159 (talk) 21:26, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Sayaka Ohara-san (Alicia Florence voice actor) confirmed in her personal blog that Ms. Kozue Amano was contacted and she and her baby are safe following the huge earthquake. 91.82.242.12 (talk) 22:23, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Animations.

ARIA saga veteran director Junichi Sato is said to be leading an anime adaptation of Mrs. Amano's currently running Amanchu manga. Unofficial Twitter leak from 06 Jan 2015: あまんちゅアニメ化するな、監督は佐藤順一さんでよろしく

Otherwise, it seems ARIA was not the first work by Mrs. Amano to be animated. If I understand correctly what Mr. Sato tweeted, there a "Warrior postman witch TAI" manga or something like that from her, which got an OVA circa 1995: 『魔法使いTai!』は『ARIA』の天野こずえ先生も好きだと言ってくれて、それで監督のオファーをいただけたんだと思うのですが、作品って終わってもこうして新しい縁を生んでくれたりするんですよね。ずっと生きてるんだなって思います。 www.bs11.jp/anime/3291/
