"

On 9 January 1948, about 200 Arabs crossed the Syrian border and attacked the kibbutz in reprisal for the Haganah attack on the nearby Arab village of al-Khisas a few weeks before."

Do you have any sources for this statement. my understanding was that Kfar Szold was chosen ahead of time by general kaukji of the arab army of liberation as the first attack point in the attempt to have a quick victory over an israeli kibbutz on his way to destroy the jewish state. If you have a source for your statement, you should footnote it.Trucker11 (talk) 12:44, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

The following article 1948 Arab–Israeli War has different information on the attack on Kibbutz kfar-szold, placing it on Jan 10th and at about 900 men. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Youdar (talkcontribs) 06:08, 7 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
