Article moved edit

I moved this article from Aisin-Gioro Ch'i-ying to Qiying for two reasons. First, Manchus never used their clan names this way, and second, he is called Qiying in several other entries in Wikipedia. Hope nobody has any problems with this. --Niohe 01:28, 19 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tsiyeng edit

I suggest that we use Tsiyeng for the English Wikipedia because this was the name used by Tsiyeng in English treaties and documents, such as the Treaty of Wangshia. At that time, Tsiyeng was an official of the Ta Tsing Empire and was himself a Manchu. Why would we want to use pinyin, as system used by the PRC for the heading? Tsiyeng was a historical figure and had a well-known English name so it would make more sense to follow standard practice in using his original English name, as in done with historical figures from other linguistic groups.
