Unknown is a joke edit
Kelvinator is largely unknown in the US and UK? This is a joke right? ...like Edison is unknown in the USA! Somebody is using free Wikipedia web space to accredit and sell their books. This is a dastardly corrruption of what should be the evidence of honest self government in our society.

US and UK edit
I got rid of the statement about Kelvinator not being known in the US and UK. This is obviously not true. A quick google check will show you that Kelvinators are still sold in both countries. I don't know about the prevalence in the UK, but Kelvinators are pretty common in the American South, especially among older fridges. Kelvinator 04:53, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Please check the statement "Between 1939 and 1945, the complete manufacturing facilities of the factories' group was turned over to the manufacturing of military supplies." I do not think this is accurate for the USA, as no factories making consumer goods were turned over / commandeered by the government or military. Joncrisler (talk) 05:25, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
Spinoff from American Motors edit
According to the American Motors article, Kelvinator was spun off from them in 1958, not 1968, as this article implies. Which is correct? -- azumanga (talk) 23:32, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Carrier? edit
