Photo of badge edit

Based on the description in Kappa Phi's constitution and bylaws, the image of a badge in the infobox is either old (and should be identified as such) or is for one of the other groups called Kappa Phi. For example, there are two other groups by this name in the 1920s Baird's. I am leaving as is for now, hoping someone from the club can answer. Rublamb (talk) 10:21, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good catch. As I had originally uploaded the image in question, it pains me to note the error, and would certainly like assistance in finding out which Kappa Phi group has the correct claim on that pin. Meanwhile, digging into this I note a large scale depiction of the Methodist sorority Kappa Phi group pin on the third PDF for their History; the one tied to Ohio State, see p.45 of the scanned document. This and several historical vignettes are provided here. So now that we know the general look of the pin, perhaps finding it will be easier. I will continue to search for this myself. I have written to the national president and secretary, asking for a correct image. Jax MN (talk) 16:51, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Having gone through many yearbooks, I finally found a black and while illustration of their crest here. Is there a way to use it under fair use? Rublamb (talk) 22:50, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I do not know if that is an official emblem, or a lower-grade bit of clipart. I await a response from the office, and will inquire. The image of the cross in pink seems to be a modern logo that is commonly used. Perhaps, like other societies, this group recently had a marketing and branding refresh.
