How can someone add this tag without any description or discussion. COI tag is not valid here, I think. If required, it must be discussed here. --Irshadpp (talk) 10:04, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Title, WP:BLP

edit

Since this page is about a living person and contains a fair amount of biographical information, I don't see why the title is "Arrest of Dr. Kafeel Khan" and not just "Kafeel Khan" with a section about his arrest. If no one has any objections, I will edit this page, and create a separate section for the arrest, and turn this into a page that complies with WP:BLP R1988 (talk) 14:34, 18 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

As noted above by Girdlast888 the subject is notable only due to his arrest and fails WP:PROF and it would WP:BLP1E hence the title .Arrest of Kamran Yusuf and Arrest of Matthew Hedges are similar articles if you wish you can Request a move and it can moved after a discussion.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 17:06, 18 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
At the very least it should be "Arrests" as the one described in detail in this page resulted in a trial and acquittal, and there is a second arrest and detention ongoing. I'm going to update the page with additional sources and information, and then request a move. - 06:55, 19 July 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by R1988 (talkcontribs)

@Toddy1: It has now been discussed in talk .It was moved in June 2019 not now. There is a case of WP:1E he was first arrested for the hospital tragedy and later the NSA detention , he does fail WP:PROF .No content is being changed otherwise someone can mark this for deletion in a WP:AFD as WP:1E.You can request a movePharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 09:55, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Acquittal section

edit

The article had a citation to the Times of India for a quotation: "The allegations against the accused are insufficient... Therefore it is submitted that the accused officer is not guilty". There were actually two Times of India articles on that subject and the citation template seems to have muddled them. This has been fixed. But neither of them contained the wording.

One solution is to find a correct citation for the quotation. Another solution is to rewrite the section based on the citations. There are plenty of other sources we could use in a rewrite of that section, including the BBC.-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:49, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
