The current article is extremely problematic. For instance, it was Horace Trumbauer (not Abele) who, "Starting as a 14 year old errand boy at the Philadelphia firm of George and William Hewitt, this school dropout had by 1890 founded his own firm." In 1890, Julian Abele was a 9-year-old. Without evidence, buildings from before Abele became Trumbauer's chief designer cannot honestly be attributed to him. During Trumbauer's lifetime, Abele claimed authorship of one building, the Duke Chapel. Maybe that was modesty, or maybe it was loyalty to Trumbauer. A stronger case can be made for buildings designed after Trumbauer's 1938 death, when Abele and William O. Frank co-headed the firm. And it is generally accepted that Abele was the primary designer of the Duke University campus. BoringHistoryGuy (talk) 17:44, 18 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I found these articles that I did not notice that these were used in the article. I am not sure if they are needed or if the articles shows are more appropriate for this article but I wanted to contribute them should they be of use to a future editor.
