Birth date

edit

The first three links in the references cite the birth date of Bosworth as 1789, and the article is categorized under "1789 births". Yet the article states he was born in 1788. I saw that on VIAF there are differences between authority catalogues, and Oxford Dictionary of National Biography gives the date of his birth as 1787/1788 which contradicts the data from Royal Society Database, Cambridge Alumni database and American Antiquarian Society member list linked in the references. Does anybody have any idea how to untangle this mess?
