Additional sources

edit

Here is a list of additional sources that can be used to add to the article.--Paul McDonald (talk) 16:10, 10 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I see there two sources that mention him in passing, and nothing else. Perhaps you can point to sources that actually meet the requirements of WP:BIO instead? So far, we have none... Fram (talk) 16:14, 10 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
You mean besides this one where he's featured in a giant photo and covers details about his play during a game? Or the NYT article above? Or the Pittsburg paper? Or the other sources already in the article?--Paul McDonald (talk) 17:19, 10 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
The first one you give is a) not accessible in that detail to me, and the snippets given are passing mentions, and more importantly, b) a University newspaper, not a "real" newspaper. The NYT newspaper is a passing mention, the full text about Miller is "coached by Dr. Jonathan K. ( Poss) Miller, former Red and Blue captain". The Pittsburgh paper is similar. These are the two sources I had seen before, when I said "I see there two sources that mention him in passing". I already discussed the sources already in the article, they are databases and the same source you present here as the first one. So no, nothing that meets WP:BIO by far. "University newspapers" are real newspapers. It's a third party source, not related to the subject. We obviously disagree.--Paul McDonald (talk) 12:18, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
