Divorce

This biography doesn't really seem to be about Johnathon Schaech; it seems to be about Jonathon Schaech's divorce. Does anyone plan to make the biography more comprehensive about his life? Savacek 16:51, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Why is this a featured article?

I can see lots of problems with it, for example no picture of the actor in question. 58.111.125.224 (talk) 07:37, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

In 2008 to 2010 Johnathon found himself cast in a string of Blockbuster hits

early life

It goes on to talk about his career, and not his early life. He had a substantial career which should be on his career section — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:6214:6E00:2CF3:F3AE:61F:CA9 (talk) 15:20, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

change the dates to include the three additional years Schaech played Jonah Hex On the tv series Legends of Tomorrow. Here are two source references. It is stated in both the Jonah Hex Wikipedia Page and Legends Of Tomorrow page.

From 2016-2019 Schaech reoccured in the television series Legends of Tomorrow as the DC Comics legendary bounty hunter Jonah Hex. [31]

WaPo

@OldNatchezTrace, your WaPo link is not working. Can you fix that? Or post the link here. Also, "With juicy strawberries in" doesn't make sense.Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:24, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Here's the link; https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/style/longterm/movies/videos/howtomakeanamericanquiltpg13zibart_c0311a.htm
Thank you for correcting, I struggled with that link / the template and the wording from the article. I think that article was already included earlier? — Preceding unsigned comment added by OldNatchezTrace (talkcontribs)
The WaPo ref isn't worth adding. No need for multiple refs just to say he was in that movie, and the WaPo one doesn't even mention him. Schazjmd (talk) 18:38, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Well, he is listed under "Cast", but I don't think that was in question. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:41, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Paywalled reference

"Schaech was born in Edgewood, Maryland, in 1969 to Joe, a Baltimore City law enforcement officer, and Joanne Schaech, a human resources executive.[1]"

Can someone confirm that the info is in the source? And does it give a full DOB, or just YOB? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:53, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Also, I'd like to remove names of familymembers per WP:BLPNAME, but that is something of a personal preference. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:56, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

It's available via ProQuest. No date of birth, not even year, just age=29 as of Dec 5, 1998. Schazjmd (talk) 19:09, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Found DOB on RT. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:46, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Facebook as External link

@Scopecreep, per WP:ELOFFICIAL I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Get a better if you can, but it's good enough to fill the role.[1] Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:25, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi @Gråbergs Gråa Sång: It is a WP:SPS source. He has written the whole article, all the sections himself, and that is why it come up in the NPP/AFC review script as being low-quality and unreliable. There is not one word that is WP:SECONDARY in nature. Please do not add in back in. And please try not use Facebook or social media as a source, in your own work. The Reliable Sources Noticeboard guys have decided it is junk, and quite rightly. All I do is remove these linke from new article. Social media is by their definition is low-quality. You can't tell if the person is lying, or exagerating or if they're is some mood, for example being vindictive, which I saw recently, or the whole thing is facade, which is common with people entertainment industry, as they don't want to expose their life. They is no critique of it. It is junk. scope_creepTalk 19:56, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
@Scope creepNow you've lost me. I didn' t use FB as a source, I added it to EL section as WP:ELOFFICIAL. Those are often SPS in bios, how can it be otherwise? If there is a pretty official website we can use that instead, but the FB is fine in this context, it has the blue checkmark and everything. Please reconsider. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 20:05, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Sorry @Gråbergs Gråa Sång:. In the external links section. Please do. scope_creepTalk 20:10, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

Do we still need it or is the article in good enough shape to remove? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:32, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

I think it is. Also because this account is indefinitely blocked, and has not appealed the block. Bishonen | tålk 20:31, 19 November 2021 (UTC).
Yes I'd agree enough neutral editors have worked on it to resolve the issues. Also the COIs have been made known here, and at least one editor has started using edit requests. Melcous (talk) 23:58, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Done. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:06, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
