I am pretty sure he married Alison much earlier than 95, in fact only a year or so after Roberta was murdered.

I ahve moved this back to John Wakeham as he is more familiar in that role. Frelke 20:09, 4 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have changed the year of Lord Wakeham's second marriage from 1995 to 1985. I note that we are asked for a citation for that. I'm not sure where one could find such a thing. For what it is worth, I was invited to the wedding reception and so have first hand knowledge. The reception was cancelled, however, because of the sad death of Alison's father. I have also added a little more about her (the fact that she had been Margaret Thatcher's secretary and then John Wakeham's).Viales 15:51, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have now found an article in the Guardian which gives the correct year of the marriage. Here it is Guardian article. I am sorry, I am not clever enough to incorporate this in the main text of the article. Viales 15:59, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
