Wikifying

I'm new to Wikipedia but have attempted to 'Wikify' a number of pages on the 'backlog' list.
I don't feel confident enough yet to delete the 'Wikify' template on pages I've amended.
My mentor seems to have disappeared; I only corresponded with him/her once; honest.
If you are experienced and have any constructive comments to make on my amendments, including, whether my amended pages have been 'Wikified' enough to warrant deletion of the ‘Wikify’ template I would love to hear them.
