Big Dehner fan comments about employment agency

edit
That is a fascinating story about Mr. Dehner and his, perhaps, lack of employment between gigs as a character actor. I just watched an old episode of "Rawhide" wherein he was the prominent guest star. As I looked up Mr. Dehner's biography on Wikipedia, I noted to my neice that Dehner must have earned really good money in his lifetime because he seemed to appear in so many television and occasional film roles. The suggestion that this talented man who brought so much joy to so many viewers would have been forced to search for other employment between jobs tells volumes about Hollywood and their opinions of who is valuable.

I hope his trip to an employment agency was a guise for a more lucrative endeavor. I think the article should mention his turn in the Twilight Zone episode, "Mr. Garrity and the Graves".Ron (talk) 00:58, 10 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I try to understand what is meant by "In 1966, as Morgan Starr, episode "One Spring Like Long Ago" that included Warren Oates, and as Marshall Eliazer Teague, both in the 90 minute TV western series The Virginian in the 1969 episode titled "Halfway Back from Hell"." - does that make sense ? Or what can it mean ? -- Beardo (talk) 02:32, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

IMDB says that he played four different roles in The Virginian - I guess this is referring to that. Warren Oates is an irrelevance surely ? -- Beardo (talk) 03:17, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

He also guest starred on Laramie. He played Jack Slade in the Season One episode Company Man. Nakoosay (talk) 03:38, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
