Tough job

edit

Getting the refs for this is somewhat of a tough job. I found exactly one and it did not contain any of the info in the article. I can't check on the others because you can't get them on the Internet. The topics in braces appear to be machine-generated. My guess is no notes are in here because the supposed "references" were machine-generated and do not really relate to the article. Whoever did it didn't really work up any notes. The whole article is repeated word for word a number of times but one repetition does give Wikipedia credit. Well, what are we do do? I wish I knew. Someone needs to sit down in a Britsh library and and spend a few hours hauling paper around. Anyone willing to do that? If not I suggest we just mark it for deletion, unless you want to have only his publications, which are easily verifiable. I notice Wikipedia is often dominated by system types, who know the most about programming and think they know about everything else, but do not. What good is this, guys? In the end it is unverifiable even though perhaps nearly all true.Dave (talk) 18:33, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

a good assesment of his life but updates are needed concerning his children: hugh has now ben offered the position as the director of the Verona Conservatory, which he has accepted and his daughter catherine-- which you failed to mention-- is a skilled ancient stained glass restorer. 212.155.113.242 (talk) 16:08, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
