Pygmalion, cantata for bass & orchestra, HW18/5
editPlease see [1].
I could not find this cantata mentioned in the article. --Yoavd (talk) 10:21, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Look again; it's listed under "Vocal works/Arias, cantatas and incidental music" as "Pygmalion (Wf XVIII:5)". -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 10:58, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. --Yoavd (talk) 08:01, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Title question
editAn article about his Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme should have which title? "(Bach)" would be unique but misleading, but all his given names are long. "(motet)" might work for a while, until we have the next one. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:22, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Mis-attribution of Harpsichord Concerto recording
editPlease see: Talk Page for J.C.Bach Two Concertos, (C minor and G major), listed as “Spurious/Doubtful” in the J.C.F.Bach catalogue, have been definitively shown to be by J.W.Hertel and G.A.Benda, respectively. Mia-attributed to J.C.Bach on a 1960s recording. Doelrich (talk) 22:16, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
