Joao Moutinho hasn't yet signed for any club and is under contract with Sporting until 2012. Also, according to Sporting's president himself, he has a minimum-fee release clause of 25 million Euro, roughly 20 million pounds.

Goals edit

I'm pretty sure he didn't score 28 goals. There's some mistake.

Sub-captain edit

In English it's called vice-captain. Sub-captain is a literal translation from the portuguese. Unfortunately in English it has no meaning although in the US it means captain of a submarine. If you wanna class Moutinho as captain of a Pershing class Sub in the US Navy, be my guest...

25% mais valia edit

There is two kinds of "mais valia" (means capital gains), but for sure it is not the 25% of the revenue Porto received. according to Porto annual report, one kind of "mais valia" was the revenue Porto received minus un-amortized asset value of the player's contract. But in terms of players profit of other clubs, the club was saying the added value of the players, which some clubs wrote more specific that the value equal the portion of the deferential value that the club buy and sold, but totally unrelated to the 20% of revenue. Tottenham Hotspur edit

Please can you add Tottenham Hotspur to club career page because a deal was agreed on 31 August 2012 between Tottenham Hotspur and F.C. Porto for Moutinho, belived to be around £22 million. However, personal terms have yet to be finalised. Spurs agree Moutinho fee 82.152.149.10 (talk) 13:11, 31 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not done for now: I'm hesitant to add it at the moment. Could you please find a source from one of the clubs or from Moutinho to confirm it. Once you have one please change the template above to answered=no someone will have a look for you. I'd also recommend you create an account so you can continue contribute to Wikipedia, as well as have access to some further fuctions (such as being able to move pages, create pages, and after a while edit semi-protected pages).
