I believe that in the mid-70s. Jimmy Hill worked in Saudia Arabia as a football consultant in order to establish a footballing infrastructure of a league and a coaching system etc. But I haven't found anything specifically about this after a quick Google search. Jooler 07:25, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Pride & Prejudice?!

Was Jimmy Hill really in a version of Pride & Prejudice? I couldn't find any mention of it on his IMDB record. What he DID appear on was Monty Python, and as this is a programme familiar to Americans I'll substitute this instead of P&P.

Blonde football team

I think perhaps it is worth mentioning his demise from the BBC which I think came after another of his punditry nightmares. During one of his final appearances he stated that the Romanian (i think) team would be able to see each other better because they had all had their hair dyed yellow. Featured article potential

I think this article has featured potential. The main problem that it is lacking is pictures. Now I know Jimmy has done public service announcements and these are public domain so maybe a picture can be taken from there. Are you ready for IPv6? (talk) 22:35, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Chin-rubbing

There's no mention currently of the schoolyard meme of rubbing/stroking/scratching one's chin and saying "Ooh Jimmy", "Jimmy Hill" or some variant. It's mentioned by the Independnt here. I think it ought to be in his article. --Dweller (talk) 14:05, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Game of Shame

The Wikiticle Coventry_City_F.C.#Chairmen claims Jack Scamp or Phil Mead were chairman at the time of the Sunderland sinker, but here it says, it'd be Jimmy Hill, a claim that is supported by a couple of online articles. Examples: [1] [2]. Who's right? Fossa_?! 11:30, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
