Fair use rationale for Image:Jerry Colonna Album.jpg
editImage:Jerry Colonna Album.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Something New?
editIsn't "Ahhh! Something new has been added!" a Jerry Colonna catchphrase too? --Larry Hastings (talk) 18:28, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Gate or Gates?
editRight now, the article says his catch phrase was, "Greetings, Gates!" In countless books I've read about Colonna and/or Bob Hope over the years, I've seen it as, "Greetings, Gate!" Singular, instead of plural. And apparently, there's a book about Colonna called "Greetings, Gate!" It might be worth checking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.143.202.206 (talk) 02:46, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Change in licensing for File:Colonnahope.jpg
editAs a result of some research, I found the copyrights for these images were not renewed. Full details can be found on the file. Because of this conversation, am changing the licenses of the images in the NBC Parade of Stars portfolio to public domain-copyright not renewed. We hope (talk) 19:54, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
Interesting record
editApparently Jerry did a promo record for Disney for the 101 Dalmatians film, singing Cruella De Ville. I wonder what that sounds like. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-JERRY-COLONNA-Cruella-Ville-101-Dalmations-BUENA-VISTA-F-367-promo-WL-/200718947163?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item2ebbc8135b
Accomplished Trombone Player
editI came across a vinyl record of him playing trombone called,Along The Dixieland Hi-Fi Way put out by Liberty Records SL-9004. Nice stuff! I'd post pics but don't know how. What a life story! 70.174.215.171 (talk) 21:11, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
