Van Gundy was fired shortly after the series, then "retired".

"Jefferino Hot Dog Buddy" nickname edit
On May 4, 2023, apparently he stated on ESPN that his father called him this nickname as a young child. There is no evidence from WP:RS that this is a current nickname, and therefore it is not appropriate to add it as a current nickname. I feel it may be appropriate to add it to the "Early life" section, provided a WP:RS is cited. Wikipedialuva (talk) 03:54, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
