Manager of Pitbulls, bodyguarded by Dean Malenko edit

Now that ECW is on The Network, all this stuff is pretty easy to categorize, stating that he simply "returned to win the ECW TV title" negates a large portion of what he had been doing up to that point. The angle with Malenko played into him losing the TV title. Seems this section needs expanding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.55.8.93 (talk) 21:01, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Birth date, birth name edit

Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public.
— Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons § Privacy of personal information and using primary sources

The verification cited in Special:Diff/1213570774 seems to say that a Facebook account named "Ronald Knight Georgi" is actually the account of a person named Ronald Knight Georgi. Do we have any independent secondary sources confirming that this "Ronald Knight Georgi" is the article subject, Jason Knight (wrestler)? Because if we don't, the Facebook profile seems unusable as a source to me. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:19, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

There is a Facebook live with Jason Knight, who is Ronald Knight, Georgi. I can contact him and have him send a video of himself for confirmation. Or would it be better if he addressed the kind people at Wikipedia from wrestlecon which is a guest. I can ask him to provide you with his drivers license with his picture on it. If that better puts the haters to rest, I have always used Wikipedia as a source of reliable information I work as a celebrity handler for many conventions and I can’t begin to tell you how many people complain that are in the public spotlight That even the simple information posted about them is incorrect. How can we trust or even fund with donations a source they can’t get their facts straight. The Nadia Steele (talk) 21:36, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia is not a reliable source. It also prefers no information to potentially incorrect information, so content should be removed when there is doubt about it, and it may only be restored with a citation of a published source (WP:BURDEN). The main issue here in this specific case, as far as I can see, is that we don't have a reliable link between the article subject and the person claiming to be it. Neither a selfie nor a license picture can solve this problem. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:35, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
When I get off work I will supply a reliable website. I apologize at work The Nadia Steele (talk) 23:06, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Here is the website to ASSAULT CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING.
https://assaultchampionshipwrestling.com/
There is a section with a bio on Jason Knight
It confirms all the correct info from his camp.
https://assaultchampionshipwrestling.com/jason-knight The Nadia Steele (talk) 01:57, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Just it’s the same wedsite listed on his Wikipedia as his The Nadia Steele (talk) 02:00, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks – I'm not sure about the reliability of this source; perhaps someone more active in the wrestling topic area can answer this. C.Fred, thoughts? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:51, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have now asked at the MMA WikiProject's talk page for advice. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:54, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I do know that assaultchampionshipwrestling.com is owned by Jason Knight and registered under his legal name Ronald Knight Georgi.
I have jason knights business card which shows the website as well as a ticket for the upcoming show advertised on the sight
I can ask his camp for a video interview with Knight Wrestlmania weekend and have it posted. The Nadia Steele (talk) 19:44, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Actually was talking to his agent as I was typing. As long as it does not interfere with his signings he will grant a video interview sometime during that week. They can have it posted to the official website and ACWs YouTube.
I do t want to waste his time if it’s not good enough.
just trying to get the proper info posted.
I did read that according to the Pennsylvania website the formation of Extreme Championship Wrestling was sept 2,1994. The first show after that was Sept 20th with Jason Knight & Rockin’ rebel. This means Knight was the first match in Paul Heyman’s “EXTREME” era.
jasons camp wasn’t even aware. They were notified of the discovery by the OFFICAL ECW website The Nadia Steele (talk) 19:50, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Re: birthplace, this interview references "his child hood and life in the Serbian national army". McPhail (talk) 19:48, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
If it’s permissible to post for his bio what questions do you want asked.
I know they are doing a documentary on his life. There was a live on his official FB page The Ronald knight Georgi page that lists him as ECW Jason Knight in the title
the interview was done FB live from that page addressing the stabbing in 2022 in TN
It is all part of a documentary that is being filmed by Richard Thrift The Nadia Steele (talk) 19:57, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
A list of reliable websites specific to professional wrestling can be found >>>here<<<. Mainstream sources such as newspapers or television news are also allowed.
Unfortunately, it appears that none of them are able to confirm the subject's legal name.
@The Nadia Steele, I wouldn't bother with either Facebook or Youtube statements as those are not considered reliable by Wikipedia. CeltBrowne (talk) 23:57, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Cagematch lists ACW’s official website as www.Assaultchampionshipwrestling.com
source https://www.cagematch.net/?id=8&nr=1593
Jason knight is listed as Ronald Knight Georgi on the official site.
he is listed as Ronald Jason Knight. Think it’s fair to confirm that that Ronald is his legal first name The Nadia Steele (talk) 06:16, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Cagematch also lists him as being from Novi Sad and Serbian The Nadia Steele (talk) 06:18, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Jason Knights IMBD page lists all his credits. It also lists Novi Sad Serbia as his place of Birth
Desiree Michele as his spouse and Ronald Knight Georgi as his birth name.
All info corresponds with ACWs official website which Jason owns
the website is also confirmed on cagematch as ACWs official website and that ACW is actively running
1.) www.assaultchampionshipwreastlibg.com
2.) https://www.wrestlingdata.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=11

@The Nadia Steele: Beyond the fact that none of these details matter, if the subject owns the website, then it fails WP:SPS and cannot be used here. IMDB also fails WP:SPS and cannot be used. Instead of wasting effort on this subject, why not focus your editing on Virgil (wrestler), who recently died? Chris Troutman (talk) 23:36, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Because I’m sure others already have. Met him nice guy.
Im trying to correct misinformation. I would think that detailing facts would not be a waste of time
Mai I guess everything that sourced cagematch on wrestlers on Wikipedia is also incorrect.
nothing is a waste of time if it is aimed to correct the wrong info seen fit to already post.
Or do we only post false info and be content with it The Nadia Steele (talk) 04:06, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
I mean hell I’ve seen the interviews and a copy of his old passport and DL
Doesn’t give me much faith in Wikipedia as a whole.
what’s a good source for most should be good enough for all. Not pick and choose The Nadia Steele (talk) 04:09, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please have no faith in Wikipedia, at all. We do not care about your effort to correct the record. Driver's licenses and passports aren't passable as sources. We do not care what is actually true. Everything we do is based upon multiple, reliable, independent published sources. You don't have any, so you have no reason to edit here. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:13, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
So Wikipedia can ask for donations, to fund its platform to provide people with a reliable source of true information on topics and individuals, when you just clearly admitted that you don’t care about the truth or the facts. I don’t know what your prejudices against either wrestling or the wrestler themselves, or even me but clearly you should not be moderating anything. The Nadia Steele (talk) 18:43, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
"So Wikipedia can ask for donations..." The WMF who collects money does not give a dime to any of our editors. We all edit on a volunteer basis. That pot of money gets abused for a bunch of the foundation's pet projects. Chris Troutman (talk) 22:33, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
So to be clear from the response, I just got moderators, and Wikipedia, do not care about truth and facts. Clearly, this person should not be moderating. Wikipedia asks for donations from to users so they can supply facts about people, places, and situations. Children and schools use Wikipedia as a source for the research, and yet the people moderating freely admit that they don’t care about the truth.

Wikipedia does not have moderators, as this is not a BBS of the late 1990s. Wikipedia thrives on volunteer editors like me. I've been editing here for eleven years. I am not an elected administrator or bureacrat because, like you, the other editors here deplore my conduct. You would do well to read those blue links unless you're just going to take your promotional efforts back to Facebook. Chris Troutman (talk) 22:33, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
