James Love
editJames Love is also a famous wedding expert who makes appearances on TV and is the MD for a company called, The Wedding Network. Can someone make a seperate page for him? --146.87.6.107 16:42, 20 February 2007 (UTC) (rob)
Merge proposal
editJim is a common form of James; someone named "James" may be called Jim, and it is likely to be presumed that someone named "Jim" is using a short form of "James". bd2412 T 00:13, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
- So according to this https://cyber.harvard.edu/is99/governance/love_bio.html Love doesn't go by Jim... FWIW Perplextase (talk) 02:29, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, Perplextase. Via the Harvard source you kindly provided, I see this: "People who know me call me Jamie, rather than James or Jim." Also, the inline link to KEI in this recent NPR article quoting James Love refers to him as "Jamie". I will include mention of that in this BLP although the name of the article should probably remain the same.--FeralOink (talk) 23:52, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

Where did he study for his undergraduate degree?
editHis two masters degrees are detailed in the article. There is no mention of his undergraduate studies. He couldn't have been admitted to graduate programs at Harvard and Princeton without an undergraduate degree. Also, it is puzzling that he is so involved in the law (through intellectual property) and economics (NBER, senior economist at Russell) without a law or economics background. Perhaps someone could provide information about his education and career prior to entering graduate school. That might help make his background less opaque. Guardian article explains this.--FeralOink (talk) 03:58, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
There is a great deal of unsourced content in this article. It needs NPOV sources badly. If not, the unsourced content must be removed. --FeralOink (talk) 23:59, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- I think some of the information on the page comes from that Harvard link, which is probably fine for determining what people call him, but it is autobiographical. Does this mean that this information (such as in the first section about his work experience) should be removed? Perplextase (talk) 05:23, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
