The user 'Phoneyname' added some false information. I was a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party - which is acknowledged in the 'categories', but am no longer. The party I was a member of never did support the Chinese or Albanians, being Trotskyist not Maoist. James Hughes is the name I was born with, I changed it to Heartfield. You're a hard nut to crack. Which is either by design or because the rest of us get lost in the myriad layers of front groups hiding front groups hiding front groups. It's also important biographical information that your wife is anti-environment. Does that need to be censored? The proper format if you've changed your name and are acting as your own wiki-biographer is to use "née." So unless you are dodging creditors, the title of this wiki page should be "James Heartfield (née Hughes), Trotskyite."Phoneyname (talk) 01:14, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

I am a hard nut to crack? You are arguing with me under the name Phoneyname!

I was a member of a Trotskyist party, but that was ten years ago, and is stated in the categories section. It is not my occupation, or my vocation, any more than it was, let's say, Michael Tippet's. My wife is not "anti-environment", she is a television executive, who made a great many programmes, such as 'Classical Star', 'Tony's People' and 'Shipwrecked'. I don't see anyone else's wikipedia page carrying the suffix (née) - or even the more accurate (né). I could see that you might want to change the personal life section to read 'Heartfield was born 'James Hughes' in Leeds in 1961. He lives in north London with his wife, TV executive Eve Kay, and his two daughters.' But for the most part, it seems to me that you just want to pull my leg, which is ok, but not necessarily what wikipeda is for, no? Heartfield01 (talk) 07:04, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Apologies all around. How could you continue to be a Trotskyite cadre with a wife who's a bourgeois media executive, spewing out all those banalities that you've listed? Case closed on that one.

Wasn't trying to imply you are a sissy by using the feminine "née," that was just a typo.

Not trying to pull your leg either, but find it the height of megalomania when someone is so self-promoting that they use wikipedia to sell themselves. Phoneyname, I think you are mistaking the RCP that Heartfield was part of for another organisations of the same name: the RCP-B(ML) or the US RCP were Maoist, but the RCP in question here took a line strongly opposed to the ruling parties in these countries. However, Heartfield's notability really arises from his relationship with the RCP and its alumni network. For that reason I am adding that to the article. Forgive me, but your addition is poorly phrased: "he is one of the most prominent members of the network of libertarian thinkers which created a number of organisations including Audacity.org which Heartfield is director of. " Apart from ending the sentence with a preposition, a 'network' does not by definition have members. Furthermore, the phrase 'one of the most prominent members of the network' promises specification, but then fails to deliver it, offering only 'which created a number of organisations including...'. That is because there was no such network - or if there was, I was not a part of it. My affiliations are as stated, I am a director of the think tank audacity, I have written for Spiked-online, I was a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party. Hi Heartfield01. Thanks for the comments on grammar: they are useful. However, your edit removes something: the notion that the RCP evolved into a number of interconnected organisations, including audacity and Spiked, which promote a libertarian, anti-regulation standpoint.
