Change citation style

edit

Dear wikipedians User:Rinnenadtrosc, User:Nikkimaria, [[User:]], User:Dl2000, User:Sarah777, User:Jssfrk, User:Guliolopez. You are the article's major contributors. It is rated Start and has 4 citations of the style <ref></ref>. I would like to extend the article and change the citation style to use "short" descriptions in the text ({{Sfn}}) and "long" ones using templates (e.g. {{Cite book}}) in a list of sources. As prescribed in WP:CITEVAR I formally ask your permission. I hope to obtain a sufficient number of permission, but if nobody replies within a month, I will assume that this means that I can go ahead without further ado.

In hope of further good collaboration, with thanks and best regards, Johannes Schade (talk) 13:45, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

No objection. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:17, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
No objection either. As it stands today, I'm not sure the refs are complex or numerous enough to warrant {{sfn}} syntax. However, if a major expansion is in the offing, then -- sure -- I've no objection to introducing that format. Certainly it has value when multiple pages of the same work are referenced several times... Guliolopez (talk) 14:34, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I have no problem with your proposal Sarah777 (talk) 14:31, 10 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
