Talk:James Douglas (businessman)

Name problems edit

I've corrected a major source of confusion here. This article refers to Dr. James S. Douglas (1837-1918), NOT his son, James Douglas Jr (?-1949), "Rawhide Jimmy" Douglas. Both were major figures in Arizona mining history.

At the moment, "Rawhide Jimmy" Douglas doesn't have a Wikipedia entry. I've put him on my to-do list. Pete Tillman 17:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC) , Consulting Geologist, Arizona and New Mexico (USA)Reply

I've seen James Douglas (businessman)'s name given as
  • James Douglas, Jr
  • James S. Douglas
  • James A. Douglas

Anbody know which is correct?

I was told by a family member that they referred to themselves as James Douglas (father) and James Douglas (son) in all correspondence and books. The grandson is generally referred to as "Rawhide Jimmy" Douglas. --Patrickdonovan (talk) 14:41, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
