Who is Washburn? edit

Ho, Cielquiparle and Piotrus, just wondering if it could be clarified which one Washburn is in the article's photograph? Eddie891 Talk Work 00:07, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I can't - it's not my photograph, and the uploader did not say. I assume somebody can identify Eisenhower :P Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:30, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

  •   Article is new and long enough with around 5070 characters. Article overal appears to be neutral and well-sourced. Spot-checks for copyright violations seem to indicate no problems. Hook is interesting and immediately cited. QPQ done by Cielquiparle (still ongoing). One minor query: The article states that Washburn was born in Rockford, while the Playbill source source states it was Sacramento. I can't access The Biographical Encyclopaedia & Who's Who of the American Theatre, does that one indicate Rockford?
@Crispulop: Thanks for the review. You forgot to sign it, though (and I don't know how to do the thing that triggers the bot that signs it for you). I have now added an endnote to the article clarifying that the Biographical Encyclopaedia does indeed list his birthplace as Rockford, Illinois, despite what it says on Playbill.com; I have also added a note on the Talk page clarifying how I cross-referenced this fact using primary sources.   Solid work! You have done some proper research. This one is now good to go.Crispulop (talk) 20:09, 19 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Diane edit

She had an article but was judget non-notable. Her article's content is preserved in the redirect history. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Diane Washburn Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:31, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Birthplace edit

Added an endnote to the article about the secondary source that correctly lists his birthplace as Rockford, Illinois. What I didn't say in that endnote is that I cross-referenced this with primary sources including his World War II draft card and the Social Security applications and claims index, which also list his birthplace as Rockford, Illinois, and that it appears he was adopted.
