A new transliteration?

edit

While "Ivan Vladislav" is the direct transliteration of Иван Владислав, "John Vladislav" is the form, which is preferred by the western (British) scholars and, presumably, by their readers. The same applies to Vladislav's contemporaries such as Gabriel Radomir (instead of Gavril Radomir), Samuel (instead of Samuil) and Ibatzes (instead of Ivats). So, what about moving/renaming this article? --Dobrin (talk) 20:02, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
