SpellingEdit

Why is the title spelled with two "s"s while the altarpiece has only one? Badagnani 01:26, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Issenheim is the French name of the commune, Isenheim is the German one. The spelling of Isenheim Altarpiece with just one "s" is correct because it is very old. --217.232.139.55 03:08, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
