Title capitalisation edit
In the article title we have capitalised "soviet". Is "soviet" a proper noun? Or is "Irish Soviet" a title? If neither is the case, should this not be retitled to "Irish soviets". (Limerick Soviet is capitalised because it is a proper title/name. But "Irish Soviet(s)" isn't a title. Right?) Guliolopez (talk) 11:49, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Irish edit
When was the term "Sóivéidí na hÉireann" invented? When I was learning Irish we didn't even have the letter V. It would be ahistorical to give the impression now that anyone used the term "Sóivéidí na hÉireann" in 1919-22, unless there is some proof.78.19.192.27 (talk) 13:06, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. The term "sóivéid" has been in the bunachar for some time. And used in the Irish label for the USSR (Aontas na bPoblachtaí Sóivéadacha Sóisialacha (APSS)) since at least the 1960s. In the sense here, TG4 ran a documentary titled "Sóivéidí na hÉireann" about a decade ago. Often Irish language labels are derived from synth or original-research or neologism.
