Request a Re-Write edit

This article is small, and of poor quality. I request a re-write and expansion of this article to bring it up to par. It needs to have more information added, with more readibility and images. --58.186.113.231 12:41, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Use edit

The article faithfully details the use of the palace during each stage of the area's history, but it doesn't say what the palace is used for since May, 1975. Since the capital of Vietnam is not in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City, one would think it's not an administrative centre as it has been previously ... --192.127.94.7 (talk) 15:36, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's now mostly used as a museum, with the main hall sometimes used as a ceremonial meeting place. Most recently, it was the site of the state funeral of former Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet. DHN (talk) 15:59, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Official website blank edit

The Official website linked from External links appears as blank white rectangle on a red background when viewed in both Firefox and Opera browsers. The most recent Internet Archive copy of the page here also renders as white on red. This 2005 version has some readable text but the welcome link leads to the same "white on red". I tried other versions, alll to no avail. Is there a better, more reader-accessible link? -84user (talk) 20:38, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Could someone fill in what has happened after the palace was renamed. the pictures suggest that it has since become a museum —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.212.225.1 (talk) 17:58, 21 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
