The Wu Zetian article lists at least two titles for specific places in this hierarchy. Could we find more? And integrate those?
it is not clear in the article which end (1a or 8a) is the most prestigious
historically, how many women were in each rank?
what were the duties of the consorts? Did they just hang around most of the time?
