Huh? edit

"Cecilia agonizingly gives birth through the umbilical cord herself." What on earth do you mean? 2600:1700:4921:450:15C8:4427:35F6:D2EF (talk) 22:05, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Virgin birth/Immaculate conception edit

Shouldn't there be a mention that this film promulgates the mistaken belief among non-Catholics that Virgin Birth=Immaculate Conception? I find this offensive as a Catholic that filmmakers who co-opt Catholic beliefs can't even get the terminology straight. Immaculate Conception is, of course, the tenet that Mary, Mother of Christ, was the only human ever, besides Jesus, born without the stain of original sin of Adam and Eve. Her conception was, therefore, immaculate. Virgin birth is quite a different concept, that Mary "did not know man" and yet still became pregnant. These distortions and lies become so widespread as to be accepted as facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.197.123.93 (talk) 12:02, 27 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
