Idukki is now the second largest district. It lost the first spot when Kuttambuzha panchayath has been added to Eranakulam. Now Palakkad is the largest one. FYI User:Manjithkaini

Location of Anamudi

edit

Now that Kuttampuzha panchayat has been transferred to Ernakulam district, can somebody clarify the status of Anamudi. Is it still in Idukki district, is it on the border of Idukki and Ernakulam districts or is it in Ernakulam district? Ashinpt (talk) 05:40, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Formation of the District

edit

Idukki district was formed by combining the Thodupuzha taluk of Ernakulam District with Devikulam, Udumbanchola and Peermade Thaluks of Kottayam District and not by splitting Kottayam district alone as mentioned. Unnikn (talk) 15:45, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
