Talk:Hurricane Franklin (2017)

Merger proposal edit

Since Franklin and Jova are both redevelopments of the same storm, I propose that Hurricane Franklin be merged with Tropical Storm Jova to form a new article Hurricane Franklin/Tropical Storm Jova. I believe in this proposal, it should be listed as part of the 2017 Atlantic and Pacific hurricane seasons and that people could better understand the meteorological history between the two cyclones.

Declined. No, they are not exactly the same storm. At least not according to NHC post-season analysis reports. LightandDark2000 (talk) 08:21, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hist merge edit

Any reason why a cut and paste move was done with Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones/Franklin? YE Pacific Hurricane 23:36, 7 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

I don't have the perms to do a history merge, so that's the only way I could merge that. :P --MarioProtIV (talk/contribs) 00:27, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Just do what I'm doing right now and ping @Cyclonebiskit and Hurricanehink: active (or in Hink's case would like to be active but also a busy musician) WPTC admins. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:57, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Page move edit

@Cyclonebiskit: Can you "remove" the year from the page title? :P --MarioProtIV (talk/contribs) 20:48, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Pinging @Hurricanehink: or @Jasper Deng: as backup just in case so it's done sooner :P --MarioProtIV (talk/contribs) 07:11, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Latter isnt even an admin FTR although he did run before. YE Pacific Hurricane 13:36, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Alright, both the history merge and removing the 2017 were done. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 16:46, 10 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

See Also Section edit

Should Tropical Storm Harvey (2011) be included in the "see also" section? It could fit better than Diana, but that's my opinion.
