edith-u-m.net seems to be dead and the "hum forum" appears to have been hacked, placed here in case they come back online
Mission control is back online...it's not updated but it still contains the best hum resources lyrics photos and history. I am putting it back in the main article Martian Kyo 00:06, 9 February 2007 (UTC) humad mnean the rock in arabic —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.53.99.249 (talk) 21:09, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Unsourced
editThis article has had a tag requesting sources for almost 2 years. Currently, it has one, which does not nearly support all the claims made in this article. I added some tags to the article, but if sources don't begin popping up soon, I'll probably go ahead and remove the information which appears unsourceable. CarbonX (talk) 09:55, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Band Members' Ages
editAccording to this article: [1] --Matt Talbot turned 27 in 1998, which would make him 21 in 1992, when Tim Lash joined the band, so how could Lash be "almost a decade their junior"? I'd like for the author of the "Founding" section to at least let us know how he or she knows so much about the early days of the band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.184.59.107 (talk) 23:13, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- The section you are referring to was completed over five years ago [2]. Feel free to be bold and remove information that is unsourced, and add content that is cited by reliable sources. --CutOffTies (talk) 23:18, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
The usage of Hello Kitty (song) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) is under discussion, see Talk:Hello Kitty (Avril Lavigne song) -- 70.51.46.146 (talk) 05:34, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

Citations
editI know it is not exciting work, but most of the citations needed sections are freely available, anybody up for getting that noted? With a new record out, interest is high. HeyHeyHayden (talk) 17:04, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
Added a bunch of new citations, interviews, media, and things along those lines. Added small section for "influence" as Hum are cited as influence by other notable bands. Top pocket man (talk) 19:48, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
Influence
editHum has been cited by Chino of Deftones and Deafheaven as major influences. It is worth inclusion as a section I think. Top pocket man (talk) 19:49, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
