Doesnt anyone have any more information on Hoyt, it seems a shame he's mostly remembered (at least on the net) for influencing someone else.

I'm removing the references to Hoyt L. Sherman's work being used to train WW2 Soldiers and Sailors in Aircraft Recognition using tachistoscopic flashes. Sorry, but the historical record doesn't support that.
