editHi,
As a child I visited the House of Dun many times to be shown the Sword of Dun. I used to stand watching it glinting in the tree in the sunlight. The legend so I was told was that whoever could pull the sword from the tree would be the next king of Scotland. Can anyone confirm my memories as I have failed to find any information on the subject. Regards D.Watt
