Re: Infobox image

edit

I changed the infobox image from the cover of the first manga volume to the sixth for the same reasons why School Rumble uses the 13th volume's cover instead of the first volume. Adapting the rationale given on that image's fair use rationale in the other information section, there are three reasons why I believe this article should use the sixth volume's cover (which are also available on the image's page):

  1. The first volume depicts only 1 main character when as early as volume 1, there are two main parallel storylines in the manga: Himegoto and its spin-off Himegoto+. The first volume would bias one toward thinking there was only 1 main character which the narration revolved primarily around, even early on.
  2. One of the main reasons for manga covers is to depict the artwork of the manga author. Volume 1's cover shows an earlier version of Norio Tsukudani's art, which changes considerably as early as volume 2, and is the style used throughout the rest of the series.
  3. Volume 6's cover is the only one to show any character other than Hime Arikawa, so there is no other alternative to showcase the protagonist of Himegoto+, Kaguya Arikawa.

Hello Juhachi, I'll be reviewing this article to see if it can pass GA. From what I've read so far the article looks pretty good and may easily become a GA. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 20:05, 17 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Is there any reason why the manga's chapter list don't contain a summary? If I were to guess the chapters are completely unrelated (Just like when I got tired of writing summaries from Gintama's manga.
The official anime website has the the bluray. It could be used to replace the amazon link which are often criticized in wikipedia.
The reception section relies too much on quotes. Is it possible to paraphrase some of them?
Just in case, I recommend you to archive some links that you need like the first one.

Anywhere those are my issues. Good work Juhachi.

  • The manga doesn't really have a story that connects chapters together; in short, every chapter is essentially self-contained in its plot. The series is about 60 chapters long, so there would essentially have to be about 60 sentences describing every chapter.
  • I replaced the BD ref with the official website.
  • I tried to paraphrase some of the reception section, but it's hard since there isn't much reception I could find for this series to begin with.
  • I archived ref 1.
