Current name for species edit

It appears from the New Zealand Organisms Register that the current accepted name for this species is Heterocrossa cryodana Meyrick, 1885. I refer any other editors to Volume 9 of the Insects of Hawai where Zimmerman, on page 797 argues that the Heterocrassa genus should not a synonym of Carposina as the genitalia in this genus are distinctive. This was accepted by Dugdale in Lepidoptera - annotated catalogue, and keys to family-group taxa as well as in the 2012 publication New Zealand Inventory of Biodiversity. Unless other editors have an objection I propose editing this article to reflect this.Ambrosia10 (talk) 02:36, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Carposina cryodana → Heterocrossa cryodana – This is the currently accepted name for this species. I refer editors to the above section in the talk page regarding the current name of the species as well as references cited in the species article especially those set out in the taxonomy section.
