Löns' burial

edit

It is highly doubtful whether the remains having been "found" and re-buried during Nazi time were actually Löns'. (Sonssgar (talk) 11:27, 1 December 2008 (UTC))Reply

Löns a Nazi?

edit

Löns was killed in 1914. His posthumous appropriation by the Nazis was probably done without his permission. I will flesh out the article when I’ve got some time to reduce the ‘weight’ of these silly remarks in the WP article. I have added an appreciation of Löns (in English) as a external link already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sleuth21 (talkcontribs) 19:58, 21 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

" ...(despite the fact that Löns' lifestyle didn't match the Nazi ideals,..." What warrants that statement? --41.151.55.13 (talk) 19:37, 27 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Added some material from a neutral bio. I hesitated to use the other biographic source in the refs for much as it might be biased, given that it is from the website of an organisation dedicated to this guy's memory. I have another recent newspaper article that gives some detail on what that "lifestyle" entailed. I'll try to get it into the article. Drow69 (talk) 16:58, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

'Wir fahren gegen Engeland'

edit

This well-known song, for which he wrote the lyrics, surely deserves a mention, at least in the English-language Wikipedia article on him. Norvo (talk) 21:38, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

You mean in the lead section? Cause it is in the article...Drow69 (talk) 15:05, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
