Don't mention the war

To avoid tarring anybody with any brush, might “Wehn's act is based on stereotypes and perception of Germans by some British people” be rephrased as “Wehn's act plays upon the traditional British stereotype of Germans”? almost-instinct 19:36, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

or replace "traditional" with "post-war" almost-instinct 19:41, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Agree with the latter to some extent but still, on a narrow interpretation, seems to suggest that all folk in post-war Britain think/thought like that. A tricky one. Dick G (talk) 23:48, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Use of accent for comedic effect

Can we include something on his pronunciation being the basis of some of his humour? The phrase mass starvation has never gained more laughs than when in HW's voice and was mistaken for masturbation. Anyone able to find something citable? Kevin McE (talk) 12:14, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Two Birthdates

disappearance

I came to this artcle from list of solved missing person cases. But this article has nothing about the subject's disappearance. Could someone please add about the disappearance? —usernamekiran (talk) 20:16, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Are you sure you've got the right article? This one is about the British-based German stand-up comedian. I can't see anything on Google about a disappearance? A week ago it was announced that he'll be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival according to this report. JezGrove (talk) 20:23, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

He's not missing at the moment, the solved missing persons cases page lists when he disappeared for a few weeks in 1995. Scott Pendlebury (talk) 22:02, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
