Can anyone explain on what grounds it is able to claim tax residency in Ireland when it states on its own website that London remains its "principal place of business", as it has always been. To a layman, its claim to belong (I'm using that term in a non-technical sense) to Ireland appears to be completely spurious, so why doesn't the Inland Revenue just send it a tax bill and take the matter to court? Doubtless it is exploiting some legal loophole or other, but surely that loophole could be abolished. Or is the EU at the bottom of it, preventing us taxing our own companies? Moved back to the UK? edit

Seems Henderson moved their tax residency back to the UK in 2012: http://www.accountancyage.com/aa/news/2231798/henderson-group-moves-tax-residency-to-the-uk - should probably update things to reflect this. Ris icle (talk) 16:10, 11 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
