Children edit

If they married in 1156, how could the children in the article of her spouse be her children? --85.226.42.9 (talk) 21:58, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

While there seems to be little doubt that a daughter of king Sverker did marry king Canute, there seems to be no primary sources giving that daughter's name. The given source also does not seem to name this person (c.f. sv:Helena av Sverige (dansk drottning)). If no reliable sources for the name can be found, this article should probably be merged with her husband's article.

References are now provided. Generally, I do not think it is a good idea to merge an article because the confirmed name for a person is missing. Wether the name is confirmed or not, the person cerntainly excisted. Furthermore, she had her own position; she was a queen, which makes her notable for her own article, name or not. A merge will also break the succession-line, which makes it much more difficult and less practical to find the succession of queens. If there is no name at all for a queen, wether confirmed or un-confirmed, then the article would be named "The queen of X", instead of being merged. --Aciram (talk) 13:35, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
