Redirection

edit

She fails WP:BIO, and as she is primarily notable for her relationship to Geisel, redirection there makes the most sense (like how Jason Allen Alexander redirects to Britney Spears, for lack of a better example). It makes more sense to redirect this page than simply delete it outright. Mr. Absurd (talk) 01:20, 17 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I won't reinstate it again, but feel that as the author of 14 books, several of which are part of an notable series, she can be seen to merit an article of her own. Bongomatic (talk) 01:32, 17 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
If you think she's notable enough, then it'd be great if you could add some info the article to assert notability (which it doesn't do too well in its current state.) Mr. Absurd (talk) 19:42, 17 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

She was a notable author and personality, and as such deserves a page of her own. However, the right-hand panel attributes to her, without explanation, several works which are, as far as I know, and by all popular account, entirely and solely by T.S. Geisel. Also, TSG's authorized biography admits that her suicide was related to depression over his affair, and announcement of his desire to divorce. Her suicide note was published, and was quite clear about it. She may have been deluded, or otherwise predisposed to depression, but to unconditionally state that her suicide was related to "illness" is obfuscatory. No need to cover difficult truths here. Some say her husbands abuse, and affairs drove her off the edge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.242.148.4 (talk) 10:43, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

What was her last name? The title refers to Geisel, but she is referred to as Palmer throughout. 128.172.28.7 (talk) 19:57, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Might be confusing to some users when her husband Theodore is later referred to as Ted. Is that a common enough affiliation? 2601:2:5180:F800:494B:AF87:898D:8D0F (talk) 16:44, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

To add to this article: approximately when Geisel and Dimond began having an affair. 98.123.38.211 (talk) 02:12, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
