The article Hansraj College, needs to be shifted to Hans Raj College which is the Official name of the college, according to official website [1], relevant text already pasted from the smaller article - Hans Raj College, to the larger article which exists at Hansraj College. Merged article Hans Raj College/version 2 edit
It has been a part of the university for more than 50 years. It offers a variety of courses which range from BA(Hons.) to BSc.(Hons). The college has constantly been ranked among the top ten colleges in India and among the five best under Delhi University.[citation needed]
The university rankers from the commerce stream are often from this college.[citation needed]
The college was founded by the D.A.V. College Managing Committee on July 26, 1948 in the sacred memory of Mahatma Hans Raj, a pioneer in the field of education.
