References needed edit

This article is sort-of a start class on an important individual in the government of Nazi Germany, and should have better documentation and more detail. Evans states in The Third Reich in Power that after 1942, Bormann could prevent even Lammers from access to Hitler. HammerFilmFan (talk) 10:22, 10 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

It has been worked on quite a bit of late with details and cites added. Kierzek (talk) 23:25, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Date of the photograph edit

The photo shows Lammers wearing the insignia of a SS brigadier general. The caption says circa 1938-1940, but elsewhere in the article it says he became an SS general sometime in 1940. If that is true, the photo could not have been taken before 1940. AlexFeldman (talk) 13:27, 23 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

His glass eye? edit

Maybe it should be mentioned that Lammers lost an eye during WWI? I have seen lots of speculations about his eyes, so perhaps someone who knows more could add more info about his lost eye? 2A07:A880:4601:1051:61A1:1A19:8336:6D47 (talk) 14:23, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

President of the cabinet edit

"From January 1943, Lammers served as president of the cabinet when Hitler was absent from their meetings."

There weren't any cabinet meetings. The last one was held in 1938. Nazi Germany didn't work that way. This was a sham appointment.
