– ... and redirects both titles to the dab A Man Walks Into a Bar (also disambiguating titles with "guy" rather than "man"), which includes several other works that it's unclear why these are primary over. * Pppery * it has begun... 16:11, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment None of the pages currently listed at A Man Walks Into a Bar require parenthetical disambiguation as none of them are direct conflicts with each other, per WP:SMALLDETAILS, and as proper nouns don't conflict with the lowercase variants which should redirect to bar joke, per WP:DIFFCAPS. Thus I would oppose the moves as improper disambiguation (hatnotes needed instead), except that Guy_Walks_into_a_Bar_(Justified) and A Man Walks Into a Bar... (NCIS) are already unnecessarily disambiguated, the latter due to a recent RM, so there is a consistency argument to be made to yield a reasonable new status quo. • Oppose as unnecessary WP:OVERPRECISION. A man walks into a bar and A guy walks into a bar are both already redirects to Bar joke. These two, on the other hand, are capitalized titles of specific works that are different from each other and any other title on WP. Anyone bothering to type caps and/or ellipses almost certainly is looking for the song or album; to add those words to the title is just redundant. For the minority, any possible confusion is easily and properly handled by hatnotes. Station1 (talk) 06:15, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. Lack of ambiguity is always most helpful to Wikipedia. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:37, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
