Gunther/WALTER edit

I think the WALTER/Gunther thing is too early yet to assume that WALTER is Gunther. Also, when referring to WALTER as his ring name, it should be stylized in all caps, like WALTER. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 45.94.174.81 (talk) 08:53, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: moved. Per WP:NAMECHANGES; once sources after the name change adopt the new name, we follow suit. (non-admin closure)Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 16:18, 18 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Walter (wrestler)Gunther (wrestler) – Per WP:NAMECHANGES. Majority of the sources call him Gunther since he was called up to SmackDown and it's the current IC Champion. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 10:59, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Support per nom. Current sources call him Gunther and now he has a major accomplishment under the name. Sekyaw (talk) 16:02, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Much as I hate the name, it is apparent that the majority of independent and reliable sources go by his new ringname. ♡RAFAEL♡(talk) 08:33, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per WP:NAMECHANGES. Sources after the name change have more weight per policy. cookie monster 755 00:37, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Undecided - Can't choose whether to follow the majority of the sources or stick with his more well-known name of Walter, which he used for long enough. Hansen SebastianTalk 07:05, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose he had the uk title for two years under a different name. Too soon. Muur (talk) 10:40, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fix topic edit

In the second paragraph, he is referred to as a 5 time world-champion in professional wrestling. He held a "World" championship in wXw, Progress, and PWG. The way it is stated in the article, it's like these titles are equivalent to World Titles belonging to major promotions(AEW, WWE, NJPW, TNA, etc). I think this is inaccurate and misrepresentation of facts. 216.208.243.80 (talk) 11:43, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
