Image copyright problem with File:BGSlogo.png edit

The image File:BGSlogo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

The result of the move request was: moved. While the common name is obviously of more importance than the official name, no one has shown that the old name remains in use by reliable sources since the change. IIO's suggestion will be created as a redirect, but not used for the actual title per WP:PRECISION. Jenks24 (talk) 06:09, 4 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Brock University Faculty of BusinessGoodman School of Business – On October 12, 2012, Brock announced that its Faculty of Business will from now on be known as the Goodman School of Business. Refence: http://brocku.ca/news/20741. 142.245.59.10 (talk) 18:24, 13 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment - Goodman School of Business, Brock University would probably be more helpful for the next few years at least, given that's how it will continue to be recognisable. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:53, 16 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support In practice, we're pretty accommodating towards schools' name changes, which aren't uncommon. See, for example, the RM of Adams State College to Adams State University. I also note that Marshall Wythe-School of Law was moved fairly promptly after its name was changed. IIO's suggestion would be helpful as a redirect, but I prefer a more concise title. --BDD (talk) 17:02, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. AFAIK there's no exception to the general policy for the official names of schools or colleges. A case needs to be made in terms of the policy, and that's most unlikely to be possible this soon after the announcement. It's possible that some of the pretty accomodating changes have been made in error. Andrewa (talk) 09:12, 23 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support There is nothing to suggest that the name change was made in error. The University announced it publicly, the website has been updated to reflect the new name, and it has been reported in numerous public newspapers. Unless a case can be cited where a School name change has been made in error and that similar circumstances exist in this situation, the name should be updated to reflect its new name: Goodman School of Business. - DB — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.232.91.201 (talk) 13:03, 27 October 2012 (UTC) Reply
