Possible hoax? edit
User:Compassionate727 has placed some sort of hoax warning on this article, but not given any hint what he or she fears is a swizz.
I can only imagine it could refer to the long distance stopping train mentioned in the "Services" section, despite the fact that it is precisely sourced to the July 1922 Bradshaw, pp412-3, reprinted in 1986. The train in question left Crewe at 06:15 and called at all stations to Preston (including Golborne at 07:54) then most stations to Carlisle where it arrived at 12:07 Mon-Fri and 11:45 on Saturdays.
Everything else is uncontentious and can mostly be looked up by a sceptic on line from the links in the article.
I would appreciate a constructive reply and, ideally, the removal of the daft notice.
